1996 Honda CBR600F3 Smokin' Joes Edition

This is my second bike that I've ever owned. I bought it from LA Cyclesports in Inglewood CA for $6500 on April 24th 2001 (Yes, I know I could've paid less for it). I love this bike! It just so happens that Miguel Duhammel is my favorite rider and this is the replica of the bike he won the 1995 AMA Championship on. The only difference between the SJ edition and the normal F3's is the body work. The serial number is also different as you cannot even buy the SJ bodywork without it. It was completely stock for about a couple of months then I added the following:

Front Russell stainless steel brake lines EBC HH Sintered Front Pads
V&H SSR2 Full Aluminum exhaust  K&N Air Filter
Vortex Front and Rear Sprockets (+2 in the rear) Street Chain conversion (530)
Ignition Advancer (+4 Degrees) Jetted by Werkstatt in SF
Intuitive Black Frame sliders and barends Progressive Front Springs (150-180lbs)
Fox TC rear shock Trunk Kit

I lowsided the bike at about 15mph near Sausalito, CA about 1 month after I bought it so after I replaced all the plastics I also bought a new 'crash' body, tank, and wheels for it. After that I swapped out the front blinkers with LP's Flushmount III's for the front, installed a trunk kit, eliminated my rear fairing, and installed the LP Shortstalk II's. I have to say that it did wonders for lines on the bike.

Here's what it looks like:

I know many of you are saying that I should've kept the original scheme but that s@#$ is expensive and when I sell this baby I want to sell it in as good condition as I can. Also I know I will be able to recouperate about 90% of what I paid for the other body so it's a non-issue. More pictures here.
